Jehovah Raphe ~ The Lord Who Heals Us

There's specific names in the Bible, in the Old Testament particularly, that show God's relation to man and those are the combinations of Jehovah.
Jehovah Raphe/Jehovah Rophe - people pronounce it differently - means Jehovah that Healeth thee and in the specific passage coming out of Exodus chapter 15 - it shows that God was telling the Israelites at that time that He is their healer.
We see that God has power over all sicknesses and can heal us from our illnesses.
This is a teaching point for us - the Bible says the Word of God is for instruction - is for rebuke - and Jesus Christ said that He didn't come to abolish the law but to fulfill the law.
Wherever Jesus would go He was healing people - there was not one instance where they brought the sick - the infirmed - people who had diseases, that He did not heal.
